SEWN-GAUZE DRESSING FOR SURGICAL USE
The sewing provides extra safety, ensuring particles are not transferred to the wound.
SECURITY:
it ensures particles are not transferred to the wound thanks to the union of its fabrics.
It is sewn around the perimeter of the compress for added safety thus ensuring optimal layer cohesion and providing traction resistance during use in the operating room.
The compress is centrally sewn in a cross shape from end to end which reinforces the uniformity of thefabrics and provides transversal and longitudinal traction resistance.
An X-ray detectable strand bonded along the length of the compress ensures the gauze is visible via X-ray. Optional.
Absorbent gauze dressing, 100% cotton.
The sewn compresses are made of rectilinear fabric, which can be 13, 15 or 17 thread, and 2, 3 or 4 layers.
It effectively absorbs liquids and fluids at the operating site.
Sterilised or unsterilised.
X-ray detectable strand optional.
Distribution in hospitals.
